Yesterday, Regina made an appearance in Lion's Arch int. dis1, for about 45min for a Q/A session. I will now brush up on the "highlights" for those that have not heard already. If need be I also have screens of the q/a session without local chat.

- Other norn blessings are getting adjusted
- Shadow form is getting a buff
- There will be changes to the UW monsters
- Hard Mode will be harder
- Hero AI improvements (better usage of skills)
- Changes in Victory or Death
- Unused leet skills get a buff (this is where people started to ask specifics about certain skills)
- HoM changes are not in this update
- There is no planned additional content for GW1
- Game Updayes are now on a monthly schedule
Well, that is the highlights. It will not be long now before the update is launched.

Thx, for the info. The elite skill changes are what I am mostly interested in. Imagine the possibilities if they really "Change" some skills to make them useful.

Wonder what they have in mind. Raven/Wolf never really saw any use, but since Ursan can't be permanently maintained... they might make all norn blessings impossible to maintain.

Communing will never get buffed really as thats the attribute line with all the spirits in that everyone hates. Of course im talking from a pvp stand point, pve anythings good.

If it's harder due to smarter AI, random groups, or more mixed mobs then I'm in favor. If it's harder due to higher HP, armor and damage, then I'm against.

Right, exactly, PvE. I mean, is it just me or is it hilarious how binding rituals are usually the weakest type of skills a ritualist has (except for a few in channeling/restoration). I mean, does it take a rocket scientist to understand this?

QFT. I'll adjust to whatever happens, I'll laugh at all the QQ Ursan nerfs and SF buffs will bring, THEN I'll move on.
I also wonder what elites are gonna get buffed... and if it's gonna be enough to motivate me to play other characters, like my mesmer.

I'll have some of that, I think I'm more ancious to see the guru forums go up in flames than to get the actual update
And I'd like to see what are they gonna do with the Hero's IA, suppose they can only make it better. I'm tired of having them constantly aggroing groups close together and having the healer's idle while the entire party is getting wiped.
I see everyone's talking about x hours left, anyone knows at what time will the update go live? I'm in GMT time

The monthly schedule bothers the heck out of me.
Because in the first few months it will just be a collection of updates they would have normally released once per week, but i can see it happening that the content of the monthly updates would become less and less over time.
Overall, i just cant wait for this upcoming update though, gotta find a good time killer, hmm maybe civilization will help me with that.

They said they were gonna make it so using Ursan would require more tactical knowledge (but not be completely unusable), so they'll probably just bring ursan down to the same level as the other 2 blessings, so all 3 of them will be relatively useful.
I never really liked ursan, but I think this would actually make for some pretty fun groups. It'd be interesting to see "GLF volfen" or "GLF raven" for the first time.
